The Arizona College of Trial Advocacy is an intense, five-day workshop providing practical, hands-on training for lawyers who wish to develop and refine the skills necessary to try civil and criminal cases.During the course of the College, students prepare and present a civil case for trial from motions in limine through closing arguments. Trial Advocacy College culminates with each student participating in a mock trial in a Maricopa County Superior Courtroom with live judges, juries and witnesses.
The faculty is comprised of exceptionally qualified and experienced trial lawyers and judges from throughout Arizona. Students are taught in small groups where they receive individualized attention. Daily exercises are videotaped, after which students receive individual coaching and attention from the faculty geared to identify and improve the techniques that work best for them. Daily lectures further enhance the curriculum.
